Intro / Purpose
• We need a dashboard to better understand our customer groups
• Need to be able to see demand trends, what each group is buying, how much we sell into each segment and the performance of each
• Important to see if there are opportunities to target customers differently

Data Used
• Datasource: Wholesale Sales Transactions
• Key Fields: Date, Beer, Customer, Customer Group, Customer Location, Sales, Margin, Volume

• Total sales $, number of customers, and barrels sold; how that compares to prior periods
• Demand trend by customer group by month
• Map to see where largest customers are located and relative performance of each
• Display of each customer group with how many customers are in each, what they are buying, and what their performance has been

• Can filter on different customer groups
• Choose period to view

Sample Questions Answered
• What is the status of each of our customer groups? Are we over relying on any of them and do we have opportunities to grow some others?
• What is the recent sales trend of each group? Are some more seasonal than others? How can we plan production around this information?
• What is each group buying? Should we try to influence the beer mix?
• What is the performance of each customer group? Is anything unexpected?
